The General Reporting and Election Meeting was held, where new Authorities of the organisation have been elected. Four new members have been accepted in the organisation. Furthermore, Polish Group of Snow Engineering (PGSE), afiliated with PAWE, has been founded.

Prof. Giovanni Solari, IAWE President in 2003-2007, passed away on November 19, 2020. His death covered the wind engineering society with deep sadness.

December 13, 2019
15th International Conference on Wind Engineering took place on September 1-6, 2019, in Beijing (China).
Our colleagues prof. Tadeusz Chmielewski and prof. Andrzej Flaga represented our Society at the IAWE plenary meeting on September 4, 2019.
Prof. Ahsan Kareem, University of Notre Dame (USA) has been elected IAWE president for the second term.
The place of the next IAWE world conference has been selected, as well.
PAWE chairman prof. A. Flaga presented Cracow as a candidate city for ICWE16 organization. Polish offer attracted great interest, but the delegates finally chose Florence (Italy) as a host city.

On September 26, 2019 in Cracow there was held a conference "Dynamic ventilation and smog reduction in urban areaswith special consideration of the city of Cracow".
The conference venue was Senate Room of Cracow University of Technology and Wind Engineering Laboratory.
The meeting of PAWE members took place after the conference.

In Februry 2009 Polish Association for Wind Engineering has been accepted as a member of International Association for Wind Engineering (IAWE). The ceremonial introduction to IAWE will take place at the conference ICWE13 in 2011 in Amsterdam.
