Welcome to the PAWE website!

Polish Association for Wind Engineering (PAWE) is an association gathering people active in the field of wind engineering. PAWE continues the activities of the Polish Group of International Association for Wind Engineering, which has active since 1988 and affiliated to the Committee on Civil Engineering and Hydroengineering of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

The Association has its registered office in Cracow.

The founding meeting of PAWE took place in the Research Building Institute in Warsaw on April 17, 2008. In May of 2008 was registered by the court.

In February 2009 the Asssociation was accepted as a member of International Association for Wind Engineering (IAWE). The ceremonial introduction will take place at the ICWE13 in 2011 in Amsterdam.
